Andrew recently joined Juro as a developer. Andrew will be helping to make the Juro platform even faster, even smarter and even more human.
Hey Andrew, welcome to the team! Tell us a bit about your journey to Juro.
I heard about Juro through a former colleague of mine. After talking to both co-founders I was very impressed with how everything was organised which boosted my resolve to leave the corporate world behind in favour of the Juro team with its results-driven focus.
What are you responsible for at Juro?
I am a developer at Juro and I’m responsible for product creation from the technical side.
What got you interested in legal tech in the first place?
What really excited me about Juro was their result-oriented focus, with the possibility to impact customers directly through a modern technology stack.
What do you like most about the Juro tech stack?
I like that there is one programming language across the board which is very convenient from the product development perspective. At the same time it's simple, flexible and fun to work with. Another point I want to highlight is the overall focus on delivering really great user experience instead of just a “good enough” product.
How do you think your prior experience will help you?
My 10+ years in software development makes me well placed to ensure best industry practices are followed in all that we do here at Juro, helping to build a quality product focused on the end user first. My API Management and SOA experience will help empower Juro API and integrations with enterprise solutions. Additionally, my experience in analytics will help to identify customer needs to find the most appropriate solution for them and to ensure that it is always at the core of what we do.
What are you working on right now at Juro?
At the moment I am working on contract versioning. This will allow users to see the change history of their contracts with all the details around these changes: who did them, when and what exactly was amended.
What has been the best thing about working at Juro so far?
The Juro team!
If you were trapped on a desert island, which 3 items would you bring?
Kindle, charger, portable solar battery.
Thanks Andrew - welcome to the team!
